Gerald Perry Tennis Company, Inc. has been delivering professional sport court construction and surfacing services throughout the Midwest since 1953. Founded by nationally ranked tennis player Gerald Perry, the company began when the Springfield, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department requested his expertise to design and supervise construction of six tennis courts in Phelps Grove Park. The success of this project led to expansion throughout the Midwest region. The business has been family-owned and operated, passing from Gerald Perry to his son Gerry in 1990, and is currently owned by Carla Magers since 2001.
