How to choose a padel court

Padel courts differ mainly in structure, glass, wind rating and what they are certified for.

  • Classic and panoramic courts: Padel Alba's Alba is the classic court, with 10 mm or 12 mm glass, and its Panoramic moves up to 12 mm glass with an optional corner finish and coastal protection. MejorSet's Panoramic RC10 has panoramic glass back walls on a self-supporting galvanized steel frame, certified to 140 km/h (87 mph).
  • Full panoramic courts: MejorSet's Full Panoramic has no metal posts in the glass corners for an open 360 degree view. Padel Alba's Full Panoramic is what the brand describes as its top-of-the-range court for demanding and professional players, with 12 mm glass.
  • Official approvals: Padel Alba lists compliance with Spanish Padel Federation and FIP specifications for all four of its courts, which is the brand's own statement. MejorSet's FIP Official Court is approved by the International Padel Federation for professional tournaments, and its Premier Padel Official Court is a limited-edition, serial-numbered court in Premier Padel's colors and branding.
  • Extreme weather: MejorSet's X-Treme is certified for winds up to 265 km/h (165 mph), above a Category 5 hurricane, and Padel Alba positions its Panoramic 125 as its strongest court for outdoor sites in extreme weather.
  • Junior players: MejorSet's Kids court uses the same structure and materials as its Full Panoramic on a 5 x 10 m (16 x 32 ft) footprint.

Before you choose, settle these points:

  • Where it goes. Indoors or outdoors, and how much wind and salt spray the site gets.
  • The level of play. Club courts, tournament courts and junior courts are different products.
  • Space. Padel Alba's courts are 20 x 10 m. MejorSet's standard court is 10 x 20 m, and its Full Panoramic and RC10 also come as a 6 x 20 m single court for rooftops and tight sites.
  • Glass and structure. Check the glass thickness (10 mm or 12 mm) and the frame on each product page.
  • What is included. Padel court systems typically come with lighting and turf, so check which options each product page lists.
  • Portable or fixed. MejorSet offers portable versions of the Full Panoramic and RC10 for sites that do not allow drilling.
