A UK site lit a small-sided pitch plus tennis and pickleball courts from one mast network, switching sports with a single touch panel, Duvon reports.
Results
The challenge
The site combines a small-sided football pitch with tennis and pickleball courts on one mast network. The operator wanted to re-tune the lighting for each sport from a wall panel, without a lighting technician.
The solution
Duvon supplied ProCourt heads on the courts and 500 W Freedom heads on the central pitch, all on one DALI bus. Three presets (five-a-side football, tennis and pickleball) light the active zone and drop the others to low-spill ambient levels.
The outcome
Duvon reports 50 fc on the tennis courts, 45 fc on the pickleball courts and 28 fc on the pitch, at 1.3:1 on the courts and 1.5:1 on the pitch, with managers switching sports without a technician and a saving of up to 60 percent.
About the Freedom fixture
Freedom is Duvon's high-output court family at 500, 600 and 800 watts, designed for competition-level tennis and pickleball. It produces up to 104,000 lumens per fixture. Housings are IP65 rated, with full cut-off or indirect asymmetric optics.
Key takeaways
- Presets let a single site switch between three sports.
- Inactive zones drop to low-spill ambient levels.
- Different fixtures suit the courts and the pitch, but one control bus ties them together.
