Long Beach Tennis & Pickleball Club retrofitted its courts with ProCourt LEDs and court-level control tied to its reservation tablet, Duvon says.
Results
The challenge
Pickleball ladders and weekend tennis leagues share the club's courts. The old lighting had no dimming, so every court ran at full power whenever anyone played, even on quiet weeknights.
The solution
Duvon designed a ProCourt LED retrofit with zone control by court, so front-desk staff switch on only the courts that are booked. The 5000K daylight-spectrum heads are managed through a central 0-10V control module linked to the club's existing reservation tablet.
The outcome
Duvon reports 1.3:1 uniformity on tennis courts and 1.2:1 on pickleball at 50 fc and 45 fc. Court-level dimming cut evening operating energy by a further 22 percent on top of the LED saving, which Duvon puts at up to 60 percent.
About the ProCourt fixture
ProCourt is Duvon's 300 and 400 watt court lighting family for tennis, pickleball and multi-court projects. A single fixture produces up to 54,495 lumens. Housings are IP65 rated, with full cut-off, asymmetric optics.
Key takeaways
- Booking-linked control means only reserved courts are lit.
- The control savings come on top of the LED saving.
- One platform served both tennis and pickleball standards.
