Flint Canyon Tennis Club reached USTA Class II uniformity from only four poles, with narrow-throw ProCourt optics, Duvon says.

The challenge
The club's pole spacing was limited by a walkway and a service driveway, so a conventional six-pole layout would not fit. The design had to reach competition-grade uniformity from four poles.
The solution
Duvon specified 400 W ProCourt heads with a tighter throw angle and added mid-court vertical illuminance modelling to check that every line of play reached USTA Class II coverage. The fixtures were finished in low-glare matte black to blend in with the surrounding buildings.
The outcome
Duvon reports 50 fc maintained average light at 1.3:1 uniformity, with glare that disappears outside the playing area.
About the ProCourt fixture
ProCourt is Duvon's 300 and 400 watt court lighting family for tennis, pickleball and multi-court projects. A single fixture produces up to 54,495 lumens. Housings are IP65 rated, with full cut-off, asymmetric optics.
Key takeaways
- Optics, not extra poles, solved the layout limit.
- Vertical modelling checked coverage the horizontal numbers alone would miss.
- A matte-black finish helped the fixtures blend in.
