The challenge
The Cougars needed a playing surface for both practices and games that would withstand heavy use and give consistent ball play and a safe footing. They also wanted to limit infill displacement, a common problem on synthetic fields that affects playability and maintenance.
The solution
After evaluating the field site and talking with college officials, Sprinturf recommended and installed its UltraBlade DFE Extreme turf system. Its parallel long-slit fiber forms a dense canopy that keeps infill in place, and the dual-fiber design supports predictable ball roll.
The outcome
