The challenge
The founders came back from a 2022 family trip to Mallorca with the idea of bringing padel to Indiana, and began acting on it in 2025. The hard part of any indoor club is the building: padel needs high ceilings, which usually means industrial zoning that is difficult to find. They already had a warehouse with 32-foot ceilings, but still had to choose a court maker. They researched suppliers on Sports Venue Calculator, found Padel Alba, and chose it for its 25-plus years of manufacturing and its U.S. installations.
The solution
Padel Alba offers a panoramic, a full panoramic and a wind-rated court for the U.S. Because the courts would be indoors, wind resistance did not matter, so the choice came down to the glass, visibility and looks. NorthPoint picked two full panoramic courts for the open view, premium glass and a clean, high-end finish. Padel Alba worked with Midwest installer MTJ Sports and also sent a technical director to supervise the work.
The outcome
The installation was planned for eight days and took four and a half, according to MTJ Sports. NorthPoint opened in January 2026 as Indiana's first dedicated padel club, and our article describes it as among the first Midwest installations of that model. The club runs on 24/7 automated access with app-based booking.
About the Full Panoramic court
Padel Alba's Full Panoramic court is the brand's top-of-the-range model, aimed at demanding and professional players. It has a 12 mm tempered glass enclosure on a galvanized steel frame with an oven-cured powder-coated finish, and Padel Alba lists compliance with Spanish Padel Federation and FIP specifications.
Key takeaways
- Check ceiling height and zoning first, because they decide whether a building can host padel.
- Indoor courts do not need a wind-rated model, so the choice came down to glass and looks.
- A supplier-coordinated install with a local installer finished in four and a half days instead of eight.

In their words
One of the biggest challenges clubs face is finding a facility with high ceilings. That typically means industrial zoning, which is hard to come by. We already had a warehouse with 32-foot ceilings.
